The 19" rack OPENROAD^® 8U depth 530 mm is specifically designed for 19" devices with a maximum depth of 530 mm (including connectors).
It combines practicality and ergonomics, while providing effective protection and strong durability, whether for a 19" audio or video equipment.

This 19" rack OPENROAD^® 8U depth 530 is made of full birch plywood, ensuring strong resistance to heavy loads, while remaining lightweight and sturdy. Its brown phenolic coating provides protection against wear and projections, while being easy to clean.
The front and rear covers, flat and removable, allow quick and convenient access to 19" devices, while being space-saving during transport and storage.
The OPENROAD^® locking system, ergonomically designed and patented by Rythmes & Sons in 1996, features a recessed sliding latch. This system offers an intuitive, smooth, and secure opening/closing, reducing the risk of accidents.
For added protection, an optional lock can be installed to prevent unauthorized access to the equipment.
The recessed handles, equipped with a double return spring, provide optimal comfort. They automatically return to a flat position, preventing snagging risks during transport.
Protective pads located underneath the rack ensure better stability during transport or when placed on a surface.

Inside, the rack is equipped with 19" steel rack rails, positioned only at the front, with square holes for M6 cage nuts (supplied). The M6 cage nuts can be placed directly at the desired position on the rail. These square holes allow for a flexible and secure installation of 19" devices.
