Material Delivery Unit (MDU)

Safe and ergonomic shuttle case for industrial logistics developed, designed and manufactured by RYTHMES & SONS (flight-cases).

It has many advantages:

Security of persons

MDU is equipped with dead man's brake system casters with manual control and braking bar on the directional wheels (foot-controled). The case and the user are secured in many circumstances.
The forklift pockets makes it possible to transport the crate with a forklift, avoiding the tilt.
The lids are retractable which prevents collisions in open position.

Ergonomic construction

The height of the handles is conformed to NF X35-109.
The loading in the MDU is facilitated by sliding shelves.
The height of the removable shelves is adjustable every 50mm.
Manipulation of the lids is facilitated by weight compensation springs.
The lids are equipped with sliding latches that can be locked.

Robust construction

MDU has a load capacity of 500kg.
Resistance to impacts on rubber stamps is 1960m/s² (200 g).
The "dead man" system brakes has been tested to 1 million cycles.

Truck size

120 x 80 cm dimensions are particularly optimized for trucks loading (33 MDU per semi-trailer).

Maintenance & repair

The MDU consists of elements assembled by screwing which makes it completely dismantable.
Damaged parts are easily replaceable.
Its almost unlimited lifetime significantly reduces its environmental impact.
